Symposium on structural proteomics

About The Event

We are happy to announce our symposium of Structural Proteomics.

The symposium will be held on Monday 24 & Tuesday 25 of April, 2023 in Gasthuis Leeuwenbergh, Servaasbolwerk 1a, Utrecht.

Save the date to join two days of interesting keynotes and lectures about topics like crosslinking mass spectrometry, HDX, and top-down/native mass spectrometry.

A Few Words

About The Event Organizers

The symposium is organized by:

– Dr. Richard Scheltema of Utrecht University. The overarching theme of his research is the development and application of mass spectrometry approaches for the detailed characterization of proteins in the context of their structure and their interactions to other proteins and DNA/RNA.

– Dr. Charlotte Uetrecht of CSSB Hamburg. She focuses on uncovering the structural dynamics in the assembly of norovirus particles and coronaviral replication complexes by applying state-of-the-art structural mass spectrometry.

– Dr. Pascal Albanese of . He is committed toward establishing a seamless connection between cryo-EM and structural Mass Spectrometry to study light-dependent protein dynamics in photosynthesis regulation in a close-to-native environment.
